I'm an out-of-towner but I come here to visit family. Whenever I'm in town, I must visit Fred's. The owners are always on the ones and twos cooking or taking orders. What I like best about the whole place is the family vibe that has been lost in the restaurant industry. When you walk in, you're greeted, treated like family and served with a smile. Your money, time and energy is really valued here. The burger is served hot, fries are crispy and hot and my shake was ice creamy topped with all the fixings. Aside from all that, the owners value service workers. I'm a teacher and Michael is nice enough to offer teacher discounts. I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend anybody in town to grab a classic cheeseburger and a shake with a side of fries.

The atmosphere, affordability, taste, customer service, and speed of the order was high quality! We came in 30 minutes before closing but all the staff were friendly and willing to complete our order without complaints. They were kind enough to adjust my sandwich to be spicy, adding jalapeños and chili sauce, which was the perfect spice level!! They are going to start serving wings and tenders in a week or so, we'll definitely be coming back :) they also have a bunch of discounts depending on what day you come there. They are community- minded and such an awesome business overall!

Really nice people and there was a problem with the register so they gave us our food for free. Nice people and the food is amazing. Inside it is also very nice and has good music. Fries were some of the best fries I have had in a while and the burger tasted extremely fresh and delicious.

Delicious!!!! Flame broiled...friendly staff!!! Definitely give them a shot!!! Also, they have multiple tvs so you can watch the game!

First time here. It is just to the west of Foods Co. Small but very clean and great people. They have burgers, fries all different ways, hot dogs, onions rings. On my so good. We ordered the Western Burger. People you need an big appetite. 2 patties, beef bacon (yes, beef no pork), onion rig and all the fixings. Good meat, juicy and filling. Our daughter is a fry expert. She knew before the first bite. She said their oil is clean. Which makes a fresh tasting fry plus season salt on top. Meat is fresh and good too. Drinks - may I say I have never seen pineapple cream soda on tap. A life changer for me. They also have one that is Agave Vanilla Cream soda. Not as sweet and just as good. Service with a smile, and very helpful on their product. We will be back and you should try.

First thing this place is under new ownership, so alit of the older reviews are for the old owner. This place is awesome! They're friendly, the food is excellent and the place is clean. Honestly one of the best burgers I've had in awhile! They have Pepsi and Stubborn brands on their soda fountain and really good milkshakes( personally they could've been a bit thicker but thats me nitpicking for personal preference). I got the Double cheeseburger with bacon and jalapeños and my buddy got the western bacon cheeseburger. Both were awesome and the bacon is beef bacon, no pork products which is honestly cool, beef bacon is awesome. The wild fries were awesome, the cheese fries were a bit too salty, and the onion rings were so good! This is my new go to burger spot! I highly recommend it!

My favorite burger joint in Sacramento. It's a small mom and pop, the ground beef looked so juicy and was perfectly seasoned, the bun was soft but didn't tear apart while eating. The thing that sets it apart from every burger place is the CHAR. You may notice their grill with flames lashing wildly at the patties. Giving that unique, irreplaceable flavor. When they serve Charbroiled burgers at The Habit, this is what I expect! I had a double hamburger with a side of fries. Fries were fine because personally I prefer a thicker cut, and their burger is going to be my new standard for a perfect burger.

Well seasoned , I could really taste the char broiled meat , and produce was super fresh . Their fries are a must have! They are crispy and satisfying, especially if you opt for the "Wild" style, you won't be disappointed. I also had the pleasure of tasting their cookie and cream milkshake . It's sweet and creamy without being too sweet. It was the perfect combo with my cheeseburger and fries. Service is super friendly and personable, with the owners going the extra mile to ensure guests feel welcomed. They have indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating on the covered patio. So bring your pups , they are definitely dog friendly! Great food and friendly service , I will be back again soon ! Thank you :)
